The first meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Control Systems in 2021 took place
17.01.2021 / Conferences, assembliesThe first online meeting of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists (CYSS) of the Institute of Control Systems in 2021 took place on 15 January. The meeting was attended by members of the Council, representatives of the Education and Public Relations departments of the Institute and first-year Master's students.
Opening the meeting, Chairman of the Council, Associate Professor Rashad Mastaliyev, Ph.D. in Mathematics, congratulated the participants on the beginning of the new calendar year and wished them success in their work. He noted that last year young scientists and specialists, despite the pandemic regime, were active and successfully continued their research work. He pointed out that ensuring the organized participation of young people in scientific conferences, organizing a series of seminars, promoting the achievements of young scientists and other such events are the main directions of the Council's activity plan. R. Mastaliyev informed the participants that the agenda of the meeting included preparation for the seminar on the topic "The role of young scientists in the scientific, scientific-organizational and social activities of the Institute of Control Systems", the inclusion of the first year Master's students of the Institute in CYSS, presentation of the Council's Facebook page and a number of current issues.
Then Aygun Aliyeva, PhD in Economics, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Institute, stressed the importance of organizing said seminars and scientific seminars for young scientists, noting that joint discussion of the results and experience of scientific research carried out by young scientists would increase the interest of young people in science. She advised young people to create profiles at www.elmikadr.science.az and www.scholar.google.com and post their articles there regularly.
Then the Deputy Chairperson of the Council Lamiya Najafova demonstrated the newly created Facebook page of the institute to the participants and called on young people to work more actively in social networks to popularize and promote science, and disseminate knowledge.
The participants also expressed their views and opinions on the issues discussed.
