ICS employee participated in the Summer Pre-School on Inverse Problems
17.04.2015 /Assoc. Prof. Anar Rahimov, PhD in Mathematics, a leading researcher of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, took part in the Summer Pre-School on Inverse Problems held from 13 to 17 April 2015 at Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques (CIRM) in Marseilles, France. 52 participants from different countries gathered in the summer preschool organized for PhD students, postdocs and young scientists. The school included 3 minicourses and 5 survey talks on inverse problems. Alberto Ruiz (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain), Mikko Salo (University of Jyväskylä, Finland) and Steve Zelditch (Northwestern University, USA) gave lectures at the minicourses. In survey talks, Lauri Oksanen (University College London, UK), Samuli Siltanen (University of Helsinki, Finland), Gunther Uhlmann (University of Washington, USA), Leo Tzou (Stockholm University, Sweden), Ting Zhou (MIT, USA) gave the participants a lot of information on the modern problems and future prospects in the field.
