Researcher of ICS attended the International Conference in Austria
25.11.2016 /International Workshop on "Numerical methods for Hamilton-Jacobi equations in optimal control and related fields” was held in the framework of Special Semester on Computational Methods in Science and Engineering organized by Johann Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics (RICAM) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences from 21 November to 25 November, 2016 in Linz, Austria. An employee of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, the leading researcher, Assoc. Prof. Anar Rahimov took part in the International Workshop.
The workshop was devoted to the development of numerical methods for Hamilton-Jacobi equations, with an emphasis on the applications to optimal control and related fields. The main topics is ranging from deterministic and stochastic optimal control, first order and second order Hamilton-Jacobi equations, variational methods for optimal control and numerical analysis.
The aim is to gather researchers interested in deterministic and stochastic optimal control, variational methods for optimal control and inverse problems, in order to foster increased interaction between these fields.
The Workshop brought together celebrate scientists of the world: Maurizio Falcone, Roberto Ferretti (Italy), Nikolai Botkin, Roland Herzog (Germany), Karl Kunisch (Austria), Wei Kang, Xiaobing Feng (USA), Hasnaa Zidani, Olivier Bokanowski (France), Ian Mitchell (Canada) and others, who made the reports.
