International youth seminar in Volgograd
11.11.2016 /The III International Seminar "Remembrance and learning from the World War II” took place in the hero city Volgograd from 6 to 11 November. 80 participants from member states of the Council of Europe, CIS member states, as well as other countries, whose activities are related to the topic of the seminar, took part in the seminar.
Valeriya Pushnova participated in group discussions on preserving historical memory in modern society, presenting as an example preserving remembrance in her own family in Azerbaijan. V. Pushnova also visited the memorial places and museums of Volgograd and made a speech of gratitude before veterans of the battle of Stalingrad (23 August 1942 – 2 February 1943) during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and handed souvenirs from Azerbaijan. She also took part in the exhibition fair of organizations and projects of young participants.
Valeriya Pushnova together with other Azerbaijani participants met with representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora and the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia in Volgograd.
