Discussion of new collaboration project of BSU and ICS ANAS
27.10.2016 / Conferences, assemblies"Developing the intelligent system of online control of oil production with the use of nanotechnologies” seminar of employees of the Institute of Control Systems and Baku State University (BSU) was held at the "Nanotechnologies” laboratory of the Baku State University on 27 October 2016.
Rector of BSU Acad. Abel Magerramov, Director of "Nanoresearch” center Prof. Mamedali Ramazanov, Professor of Computational Mathematics Department Vagif Ibrahimov, Director of ICS ANAS Acad. Telman Aliev, Deputy Director Oktay Nusratov, Doctor of Engineering, and other scientists participated in the seminar. Acad. Telman Aliev made an opening speech, pointing out the significance and the main aim of the project.
Acad. Telman Aliev told the participants that successful work had been done in developing the intelligent system for increasing the oil production index at oilfields in the final stage of development.
Employees of ICS informed the participants about the scheduled work. Head of "Control, diagnostics and management system for oil extracting facilities” Laboratory of ICS Assoc.Prof. Asif Rzayev, PhD in Engineering, made a presentation on "Developing the intelligent system for increasing the oil production index at oilfields in the final stage of development”. As a result of research work in this area, group metering stations were installed covering 55 wells at Bibi-Heybat oil and gas extraction facility, 190 wells at Shirval Oil, 140 wells at Salyan Oil Ltd.
Further, a detailed discussion of the project took place.
