Online meeting of CYSS of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS devoted to the 97th birthday of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev
08.05.2020 / Conferences, assembliesAn online meeting of the Institute of Control Systems of the ANAS on the topic “Managing the period of pandemic using ICT”, dedicated to the 97th birthday of great leader Heydar Aliyev took place on 8 May 2020. Opening the meeting, the Chairman of CYSS ICS ANAS, Rashad Mastaliyev, PhD in Mathematics, spoke about the work carried out by the young scientists of ICS ANAS during the pandemic. R. Mastaliyev said that every opportunity had been created for the education and development of youth in the country as a result of youth policy laid down by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued today by President Ilham Aliyev, advised young people to take full advantage of these opportunities and wished them success in their scientific work.
Then Deputy Chairperson of the CYSS ICS, Aygun Aliyeva, PhD in Economics, spoke about information security, ensuring development by protecting the information environment from false and negative information during a pandemic, the difficulties that negative information can create, and ways to prevent such cases.
Junior researcher Lamia Najafova, Deputy Chairperson of the CYSS ICS, spoke about the information and communication technologies and distance learning used in the educational process during the quarantine period. She also noted the indispensable role of new software and tools used in distance learning for teachers and students.
Other researchers of the Institute also spoke at the meeting: Sevinj Babaeva reported on the work conducted by the Foreign Relations and Innovation Department during the quarantine period and her PhD dissertation, Valeria Pushnova on her recently published article on distance learning, Lyaman Mammadova on the work carried out in Laboratory No. 3.5 and published abstracts related to the participation in an international conference in Ukraine.
At the end of the meeting, A. Aliyeva thanked the young scientists on behalf of the CYSS ICS for their active participation in the event held in the quarantine conditions and expressed confidence that as a result of the decisions made by the President, the spread of coronavirus in the country would completely stop and people would return to their former lives.
