A meeting of the Science Council of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS was held
11.12.2020 /An online meeting of the Science Council of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS was held on 11 December 2020. Opening the meeting, Director of the Institute Academician Telman Aliev once again congratulated the members of the council on the victory of the Azerbaijani people and spoke about the magnificent Victory Parade.
Then T. Aliev presented the 2020 report on the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the Institute of Control Systems. He noted that the research work on 17 topics, 39 works and 28 stages carried out at the Institute over 5 years (2016-2020) had been completed in 2020. T. Aliev also brought to the attention of the council members that in 2020, 59 scientific works had been published in the Web of Science database, 23 in the Scopus database, and 382 references to the works authored by the researchers of the Institute had been made in the Web of Science database and 1,062 in the Google Scholar database by 25 November 2020. The director said that there were 54 people in the Doctoral program of the Institute, including 13 doctoral students and 41 dissertationists, and 14 people were studying in the Master's program.
During the second part of the meeting, T. Aliev spoke about the achievements of the Institute in 2020 and said that the strategy of ANAS, which can provide economic benefits and application opportunities, is aimed at scientific problems, is being implemented today at the Institute of Control Systems.
Academician-Secretary of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov spoke at the meeting. He congratulated the participants of the council headed by Telman Aliev on the Victory Day and spoke about the content and grandeur of the Victory Parade. A. Sadigov stressed that from now on, scientists have an even greater mission and responsibility to provide comprehensive support to the country's economy and politics with their science and labor. A. Sadigov noted that, considering the profile of the Institute, the scientists of the Institute have a great role in and great possibilities for increasing the country's defense capabilities, developing new technologies and software. The Academician-Secretary praised the research work carried out by the scientists of the Institute and wished them success in their future endeavors.
Further, the issues proceeding from the Protocol of the Science Council were discussed.
