A webinar was held on the Green Deal Challenges of the Horizon 2020 program
05.01.2021 / Conferences, assembliesA webinar devoted to the Green Deal Challenges of the Horizon 2020 program and other opportunities of the research programs of the European Commission (COST Action, Marie Skłodowska-Curie) was held for the institutes of the Division of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences on 30 December 2020. The webinar was organized by the Office of International Relations of ANAS and attended by representatives of the institutes' education, public relations and foreign relations departments.
At the online webinar, the NCPs of the HORIZON 2020 Research and Innovation Program of the European Union informed the audience about the possibilities for the participation of Azerbaijani scientists in the HORIZON 2020 program, registration rules and new calls (tenders).
T. Babayev, Legal & Financial NCP of HORIZON 2020, Head of the Foreign Relations and Innovations Department of the Institute of Control Systems, made a presentation on 4 topics included in the Green Deal Challenges. In particular, T. Babayev provided information on two areas, aimed at buildings that use energy and resources efficiently, sustainable and smart mobility and broad citizen participation in the European Green Deal policy. During the webinar, answers were given to questions about the possibilities of participation of Azerbaijani scientists in the Framework Programs of the European Union.
